SEO and AI search visibility for Ontario businesses
I help small and medium-sized businesses across Ontario understand how their websites are being found and decide what to improve.

You might want an audit, help with a problem you’ve already identified, or someone to work through changes with you over time. I’ll explain what the evidence tells us and where we need more information before making a recommendation.
Make your services easier to find and understand
Perhaps some of your services barely appear in search, or you have a report full of recommendations and aren’t sure which ones deserve attention. We can start with those questions.
We’ll start with your customers, the services you want to be found for and what your site currently says about them. From there, we can examine the content, technical issues and available search data together.
What do SEO, AEO and GEO mean?
SEO — search engine optimization is work aimed at helping people discover your website through search engines.
AEO — answer engine optimization focuses on how your information can help answer a person's question. GEO — generative engine optimization focuses on visibility in answers produced by AI systems.
These terms overlap, so I review them together. I look at whether the content is useful and supported by evidence, whether it explains your business accurately, and whether the relevant systems can access it.
Two ways we can work together
Understand what needs attention
A focused audit can help you see where the issues are and what to tackle first. We’ll agree on the questions and areas to review, then I’ll explain the findings, the evidence behind them and the recommended next steps.
The result is a prioritized plan you can discuss with me or take to the person who manages your website.
Put improvements into practice
If you already know what needs work, we can scope the changes. That might involve improving service pages, resolving technical issues or making your site’s information more consistent.
For ongoing work, we’ll agree on priorities, responsibilities and when to review progress. The work and reporting will reflect the goals and data available for your site.
What we can review and improve
- Service content: missing details, unclear explanations and customer questions the page leaves unanswered.
- Page structure: topics that need their own pages, useful titles and links that help connect related information.
- Technical access: problems that may prevent search engines from reaching or indexing important pages.
- Business information: inaccurate or inconsistent service, location and contact details.
- AI search readiness: how clearly your pages present useful information and the evidence behind it.
- Measurement: what the reports tell us about discovery and visits, including gaps that limit what we can conclude.
The proposal will specify which areas are included and whether the work covers assessment, implementation or both.

A few common questions
Do I need to buy an audit first?
No. We’ll discuss what you already know and what needs checking. A focused assessment may be useful, but it isn’t a required purchase before we can work together.
Can you make the recommended changes?
We can include implementation in the scope after reviewing your website and the work involved. If you already have a developer or team, we can agree on who handles each part.
Can you guarantee rankings or mentions in AI answers?
No. I can commit to the agreed work and explain what was changed and checked. Rankings, AI citations and resulting inquiries are outcomes to measure, not promises I can make.
How will we know whether the work is helping?
We’ll agree on relevant measures, such as visibility for your services, visits to important pages and inquiries where they can be tracked appropriately. We’ll compare against a starting point and be clear about data gaps and other changes that may affect the results.

Your next step
Tell me what you’d like to understand or improve
Share your website and the search questions you have. If you already have an audit or report, let me know. We’ll work out a useful starting point and I’ll provide a quote for the agreed scope.
